Michael Silver and Neil MacDonald are Gartner’s highly regarded analysts, who spoke at a conference recently saying that Microsoft’s Windows flagship product “Vista” will collapse if no radical amendments are made
We all know how buggy Vista is with all its incompatibility issues. Even with the recent Service Packs rolled out, there’s still some bugs that Vista user are experiencing
The Gartner analysts also said that Windows browser are its only “operating system” that matters, and its $16 billion dollar a year consumer and business desktop software are losing in customers, being that there’s an increasing online application such as Google Docs surfacing on the Internet
Such online applications are competing with Microsoft products and current 60% of Microsoft’s total revenue is at risk if Microsoft doesn’t come to terms with the current relevant medium found readily on cyberspace
